Back from IFC

I originally wrote home from IFC, but that's incorrect. but that's mincing words, I'm back! I had a great time with tons of people at IFC, and it was definitely a nice little vacation from my current homelessness. So thankful for all the friends I've made, from the guys who just say hi up to the people currently giving me a place to sleep. You all get me through the highs and the lows, and I'm so grateful for all of you.
So yeah, IFC. I got in pretty late Friday afternoon, and let myself just ease into con stuff. Saw tons of people I knew, chatted, casually hung out, and then did Who's Lion. I was on my game, and it was just a fantastic time. After some Friday night casual semi-clothed hanging out, Saturday was pretty relaxed. Special shout out to
bandrik for our awesome quest in search of kale and bowls.The Dragget Show this year got an awesome strawberry/mango kale salad, tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette, and granished with shaved almonds, dried blueberrys, and a creamcheese/strawberry medallion. As I'm writing this, I'm regretting not taking a picture of it. Saturday night concluded itself with some quiet time with a good friend, and then an impromptu invite to a strip poker game. Came in second, one more piece of clothing and it was anyone's game, ah well. It was tons of fun, and I'd be down for more shenanigans in the years to come. And then today was just more goodbyes, and spending time with people when I could. I already miss you all, and I hope I can see you all again very soon.
One final note, to everyone who asked about the lack of a Furoticon presence; I'd like to personally apologize for that. I'm very sorry that things didn't happen at this con, and I'm particularly sorry for those who came specifically for Furo stuff (I know there were at least a couple of you) and I'm going to strongly say that this won't be happening again in the future, we will be at IFC for the years to come if they'll take us. I'll be at Furreality, and at MFF I believe. So those should be my next two cons actually, and hopefully I can see lots of you there.
