Have you had your daily dose of brick to the face, today?
… My mom just told me she sold the house in Orem, Utah and is moving into a condo in a few days.
I dunno what to think of this. On the one hand, it gets me down, because while I didn’t have all that good of memories there, I did have memories there, and now those memories are sold away. On the other hand, it gets me down, because it shows that my mom, despite events that transpired recently (like the death of my stepdad a year ago), has moved on with her life and is trying to rebuild anew, whereas me… I’m stuck here, doing nothing with my life whatsoever, stagnant.
What does that say about her, and about me?
