Not so good news ahead...
First, commissions are now closed. I will not be taking anymore for a few months. Why? Next...
Second, school is coming. One more week of freedom before what I can assume is going to be a rather difficult semester. I'm...not too happy with my current school situation. To sum it up: I want to go into game design as an artist/3D modeler. I enjoy modeling quite a lot, though I'm so far only good at structures. But my current class plan has been all oriented towards programming. I've been learning databases, programing languages, and artificial intelligence and struggling terribly. Course now, in my 4th year of college, I discover that I don't like the technical stuff, but really, really enjoy the artistic stuff.
So now it feels like I've wasted 4 years of college to change directions, and eventually schools, to pursue a degree that many wouldn't recommend.... Its been a headache to say the least.
Third, someone on FA has reported me for not citing all the models that I use here. If I don't cite them, my gallery will be wiped. Now I'm going through a painstaking process of looking up and getting all the links to every model that I have used in the pictures I have posted here. Thankfully, the FA admin I've been talking with has been fair and nice, so I have enough time to do this, and he/she has given me permission to post a single journal with all the links there, then each submission needs a link to the journal. In the next week, expect a loooooong journal of links.
There is one bit of good news, so I'll end on a happier note. Years ago I bought Company of Heroes for the computer and I never got it to work. I tried 4 different computers without any luck, and that is the main reason why I am a console gamer and not a PC gamer. You cant convince me that PC games are better if it took me 8 years and 4 computers and still fail to play a single game. Well I finally got it to work this week, but only because I used Steam to get it on my computer. I never got the CD to work.
Still, fun game. I like the noise. The soldiers are all screaming at each other, which is a nice change from just gunfire and nothing else to break it up. It adds some chaos to the game that I enjoy.
That is all for now...I hope...

The very first one. Just Company of Heroes. Came out in 2006 I think? In any case its an old game, and I couldn't get it to run at all on 2 computers, and then it wouldn't download a patch on the second 2 computers. So 8 years and I still couldn't play it.
But yeah, will just leave it at that and move on xP
I hope your classes go well when you head back to them *hugs tightly*
I have been very hectic with work, il wait till your open again before getting part 2.
As for the school stuff, its never bad to learn, yeah it might not be exactly what you like, but it is still knowledge that you now have.
So I don't think education is ever a waste.
I went into a field that I decided wasn't right for me, but I stayed in the course and I kept at it and I finished successfully, then I went into the course I really wanted to do and I did that too.
I'm very happy with my accomplishments, and you should be too. Education is a wonderful thing and you can take what you've learned with you wherever you go, especially if you like what it is.
Sucks about the FA stuff, but at least admin is being generous about it. You are a wonderful guy and I really want the best for you. I'd love to chat anytime you wish. I know that you have been struggling so I did give some space in case you wanted that alone time to focus on yourself and what you wanted, but I probably should have still checked in, so I am sorry for not doing that.
I am always a Note or Skype message away if you ever really needed someone to talk to. I'm here for ya bud and I have your best interest at heart. you are not alone and there are lots of people who care about you.
