I think there is a lot of drama in the fandom, personally. It might be easier to date outside the fandom, but if you're so much of a furry like I am that wants to date another furry, then it might not be the best idea to settle for someone else.

I dated within the fandom...and I found someone who is simply amazing. I think if your a fur...a lot of non-furs would think your weird, but there is a chance to convert them to furry also.

So as advice...start inside the fandom, and if its not going well for you, try outside and loosen up on being a furry till they get to know you. My thoughts.

I couldnt date a mundane anymore, no way. Would have to be a furry otherwise I wouldnt beable to relate fully with that person.

I think both can be fine, but ultimately the more you have in common with someone the more you both can relate with each other. So both parties being furries can be great, but that also depends upon what you define as furry...as long as you both are committed to each other and care about each other, then really no matter what drama comes along it shouldnt matter ^^
