Eurofurence 21!

Woof.
So, I managed to survive Eurofurence 21! I got back home on Monday, and damn was I exhausted XD I slept 16 hours the first day, and my feet are still hurting to day. And I think I stretched some muscles in my back too. But it was sure worth it :3
My absence online has been because of the convention ,and I realised a bit too late that I did not make a journal or anything to notify people that I was going, like I usually do. So, sorry bout that ^^
I hope to get back on track on the arts and the drawings shortly ,now that I am settled back home :3
As for the convention itself it was great this year, for a number of reasons. Ill just make a list of highlights to keep this from being an essay :3
Fuzzy's 80's Dance
I love the dances at cons, even if I am only comfortable dancing at them while I am in fursuit. And the 80s themed dance this year was my favourite. Not to say that the other ones weren't good, but this one was probably the one I enjoyed myself the most at. I am not a professional dancer or anything, so I like silly catchy things where I can make up moves to fit the track playing XD The crowd was a real good one too, energetic and into it. The tracklist was beyond cheesy and I am fairly certain that I can blame my favourite DJ Fuzzy for that. Thanks :3
Altough at the end of all the dancing my feet were near blistering, but I felt it was worth it. One of the drawbacks of dancing only in fursuit is that it wears you out real quick.
Rhubarb and Cosmik:
I admit I had not heard of these two, the Guests of Honor this year, before but I was pleasantly suprised by just how entertaining their musical performances were.
Bandthro:
The concert arranged by Fox Amoore featuring himself and other artists, including the GoH, was possibly the best rock concert I have seen in a very long while. The short length of it helped, as it allowed them to keep the show neat and focused, delivering nothing but their best performances from begining to end. I was very happy that I did not miss this event :3
It also featured the most insane drummer ever, I don't think I've ever been more impressed by a drum solo in my life.
Enter the Arena:
I love fursuits dancing. I love dancing in them, even if not very well, and I love seeing fursuits move around, so this event was a given. The dance styles included some real suprises this year, like sexy bellydancing :o And all in all, a very pleasant one. I think the fact that the show was runing a little late (big suprise) made it more enjoyable, as it forced the competition to keep a rapid tempo XD There was no time to get bored or anxious waiting for the next performance.
Time:
Somehow this con ran very close to on-time. Hardly any event was delayed more than 40 minutes.
Hotel:
The hotel itself was much better prepared this year compared to last time. The staff was more knowledgeable and ready to go that extra mile to help out us furries. I think they also realised after last year that we were completely harmless, and quite responsible, and so allowed us certain benefits we did not have last year, such as the ability to consume our own alcohol outside at the bonfire area :3
The hotel itself is clean and professional as always and the convention this year featured the best fursuit lounge I have been in, with the only drawback being that it was literally situated as far from the hotel rooms as you could possible get it.
Food:
This year I found my favourite place to eat. After surviving on McDonalds a few days, because it was right there and close and cheap x.x, me and Amri found the Asian fast food place near the trainstation. New favourite :3
Also, kudos to the kebabplace owner who was open untill 4AM and let us in for a bite in the middle of the night on sunday when we were hungry and needed sustenance. Really friendly guy :3 Turns out that to find the good food places you just need to walk a bit.
Personal thanks:
Really, I am not gonna fill out this section :3 There were too many wonderful people I got to meet up , hang out with, and other stuff, and it would feel weird just singling out some of them, and exhausting to list all XD So, thanks all of you guys for making it a better convention.

FA+

To be honest i would probably agree on pretty much everything. Once again, Rhubarb and Cosmik were indeed interesting GoH.
I will remember Teddy for a looong time, his insane drum solo and consuming sandwiches on stage xD
Hard to list all amazing ppl who were at this con, but you wolfie, was for sure among people who made me happy during con
