With the program that I have on my computer, I can still see the artists ads and not the stupid annoying pop up ads.

What program do you use?

I use Bluhell. It does a great job with ad blocking.

I have always used adblock, admittedly, even before the 3rd party ads. I just always have it active for youtube and other sites and don't disable for FA ads.

I'm an avid adblocker user but I have FA and only FA set up so I can see the artists' ads. I've found a couple of my favorites on here through ads, so I'll probably always have the user ads visible.

Apparently, my addblock cuts out all adds.

Haven't seen a single add on FA in years because of it.

I seem to recall seeing somewhere, though, that there's been a lot of extra trouble (as in, more than the usual amount haha) getting an ad?

I use Adblocker Plus. It stops ALL ads from showing including artist's ads on here. not really fond of that, honestly.

After the "adult" ads started, i used Adblocker and it blocks all ads. I love seeing the artists ads but because of adblocker, i don't see them anymore :c

Don't be sorry! Just gauging whether or not it would be worth it but with pretty much everyone who's posted, no one see's the ads so you're actually saving me the time, money and effort of making an ad XDD

I mean the ads were neat when it was FA owning the site. Now that IMVU owns the site they are doing all they can to make money off of FA. Also when we got attacked and there were viruses in the ads. I didn't trust it anymore after that and then IMVU's stuff. So I block everything. I also know when fa had that journal about the adult ads a vast majority said they use ad blocker. I am all for supporting artists, but I go by word of mouth or art that I see more then anything else. Hope that helps out some!

i use ad-block as well (mainly because i dont like how the site has been carrying its self lately)
but from what i've heard, many users just keep the ads running as normal or have Ghostery or something similar to keep only FA content ads running.
with my experience with ads, they bring in alot of watchers and customers, so it's well worth it. now, because i use ad-block, i wont see it ..
but i'm already following you, so it wont effect me.
even at that, enough people still see the user-based ads, so i think you're safe with buying a slot.

I block everything and can't be bothered to use another program to enable certain ones, I find most of the FA artist ads to still be of little interest or just flat-out gross. Word-of-mouth, being active and posting nice content is the best way to get my attention (and lol, obviously you already did).

I currently have an ad. I ordered it in July. I've gotten about 275+ (lost count) new watches from the ads and its still climbing. This is about the same number of watches I get per ad before the whole adult ad drama that caused more people to block. Either way I say its worth the $25.
