Electrical surge mishap
Thanks to... Something..(brown out? Power surge?)The appliances in our kitchen may be fried, half the breakers are fried, and possibly the dehumidifier. All plugs down stairs and almost all upstairs are inoperable at the moment. I've been told to keep all electrical use to a low while the repair guy goes and find a new breaker box and tests everything. So in the meantime, no fridge, no stove, no microwave, and low key work :/ not how I wanted to start my week..
FA+

But yeh, this sucks :/
Hopefully its fixed today for you!
My wife's cousin lived near Ann Arbor, and they nearly lost his house about 15 years ago from a direct hit; It cracked the chimney from the top straight down to the basement, burned most of the wiring, and almost destroyed everything that was plugged in. The insurance company helped them with the $40K-60K repair bill. Sometimes the 'big one' happens.
I hope you are able to get this fixed soon!! I home cook a lot myself and would probably have an anxiety attack. >.>
