I'm gonna have to type quick since I don't really know how much time I have before my computer shuts off again, but I've been having a lot of issues with it since last night. I've tried a lot of things, and it doesn't seem much better; I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be feeling any kinda vibrations hahah, something is working REALLY HARD in there right now.
Please please follow me at twitter.com/EriPuppy for details; making multiple posts on my cellphone is really difficult and I will be keeping all updates there. All this being said I will definitely have to start saving up for a new one, so pledging to me on Patreon, sending me donations (contact me on Twitter or Tumblr if you'd like to), or commissioning me once I reopen will help a whole lot. I plan on opening to save up, but I don't know if I can draw on my computer for sure... Details on that later I suppose, it's all a big pain
It bluescreened twice, I tried virus scans, I tried system restoring, there have been all kinds of other problems and while it's running now as I said it's kinda shaky, and it won't open some things. That's all I really know right now, likely yet another hardware issue. It'd be best to just part with it but it'll likely take some time

It sounds like your fans are working overtime, try 3 things before chucking that laptop:
#1. Buy a cheap can of compressed air (you can find these at most retail stores/computer stores for around $2-3 bucks)
#2. (only perform this is you KNOW what your doing) open up the case if the air fails to break up the matter, and gently remove the gunk from the heatsinks.
#3. Buy a box fan, place it so that it has intake on the back and blows upwards, place the laptop on the top and see if this alleviates the issue (if this does indeed fix it, I suggest taking it to a repair center for a cleaning, it has most likely lost a fan or is full of hair/dust, [this is the other side of #2].
*If you own an SSD, this is mute.
I'll look into getting a box fan too since this is a recurring issue, and I suppose dust collects in it faster than I thought. The other bits have to do with RAM as I've been told, so I'm looking into that next. It would be nice if I didn't have to get a brand new laptop right away but I think I'll still get to saving up just to be safe. Thank you so much!
Depending on WHO repaired/replaced the fans you might be better off looking at getting ANOTHER replacement soon on them.
Fans are pretty damn delicate and if one wasn't built just right or has a structural defect it could have snapped a piece off INSIDE the system and the fan might be out of balance now (producing a hard shaking effect), this would also mean it is a LOT easier to get jump clogging it up now (this is can overheat the system and cause BSODs and hardware failure with time).
Good luck though hun, it seems like it helped at least ^__^
If you know how to take a laptop apart (it can be tricky and easy to break the laptop if you mess up) then I recommend pulling it to pieces until you can remove the fan and heat sink, carefully cleaning out as much dust as you can. Do not use a vaccuum or a static duster.
It could also help to get more thermal paste/grease and evenly apply it over the CPU, carefully removing the older and possibly hardened thermal paste.
What sorts of things is it failing to open? And can you tell which part of the laptop is shaking? (Like if it's over the fan or the hdd)
I also once saw a laptop that had a disc stuck in the disc drive... it didn't come out when the drive opened, but it still spun around inside the drive, which was obviously noisy and caused shaking.
You'd probably know if you had a stuck disc, and it shouldn't be causing so many issues, but it's one thing worth checking I suppose.
I couldn't open SAI or Chrome before, but today I figured out that Chrome just wouldn't open because I system restored sometime back before some updates. The 'vibration' was happening to the immediate right of my touchpad but so far it hasn't been doing it. I can't say until I run more things to test it though. Disk drive's fine too.
Thanks!
Bluescreening can often be caused by RAM, yeah, but it could be a huge number of things. Try reading the bluescreen, it should give you a hint.
It's good that spraying it helped, but often this just moves the dust to another part of the laptop- it could move back into place, and it isn't as thorough as taking the whole thing apart for a clean. If you can't do it yourself, then I recommend testing out other possible faults and then taking it in to get cleaned as a last resort.
If overheating is the issue, you can download a temperature monitoring tool (if your computer has a thermometer in it) that will display the temperature of each core of the processor and warn you if it's getting too hot.
If I were you, I'd still be cautious of the hdd, and if you have two sticks of RAM instead of one, try switching them. If you have a few bad sectors in your primary RAM then just swapping the primary and secondary could actually save you a lot of trouble.
If there was any time it would have been mishandled during shipping, it would be back when I got the hard drive sent out to be replaced in November. As for getting the fan replaced in March, I just drove pretty far back and forth to the place to get my fan replaced. It sits on my desk in the bedroom all day too, so if anything it collected dust. If switching the RAM around doesn't work, I'll try and catch the bluescreen to check it out! It's always so sudden that I never relax enough to just read it, hahah.
So thanks again! I'll let you know whether or not that worked.
Yeah, RAM can be tricky like that... if it happens again though, then switching won't work (because then both RAM chips would have issues haha) so you'd need to replace at least the primary chip... but I'm glad that it (hopefully) helped~! c:
