You have nothing to fear but fear itself...
I finally heard back from the doctor's office today. Apparently there's nothing discernibly wrong with my spine or my hip joint. I'm gonna have to wait until I go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks to find out what I need to do now. I'm hoping this is fixable, I really don't want to walk with a cane the rest of my life.

Hehe that's true, and I've thought about it but I think that they're illegal where I am. At least to carry in public, unfortunately! Thanks for the well wishes.

Oh thank you for the resources and the kind well wishes. I'm already on a vitamin regimen from my doctor that includes a multivitamin, Calcium and Vitamin D as well as vitamin B12 on a daily basis. I'll have to try a couple of those others that you suggested and see if they help at all. I hope that I can get this taken care of and be a danger to intact males every where again soon.
