Been a while since I made a journal, anyway, that's beside the point, here. A few of you already know, but I'll be getting a new pet soon. i'm going to be getting a Bearded Dragon, an exotic lizard from the desserts of Australia. They are relatively easy to care for if you know what you're doing, and I've not only joined a forum to get answers to my questions about them, but am also doing as muhc research as possible. They're gentle little critters, and you can pick them up and handle them without a problem, which is kind of uncommon for a lot of reptiles.
Which brings me to a rant...
Screw HR 669! HR 669 is a retarded law they're trying to pass in several places banning non native pets. I understand what they're trying to do, but it's just stupid! Just because there are irresponsible owners, and people who don't think before they buy, or buy things just because they look cool, doesn't mean we should all suffer. In my opinion, anyone should be able to own any animal SO LONG AS THEY KNOW HOW, AND ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING FOR AND CARING FOR THE ANIMAL PROPERLY.
Ok rant over...
My Great Grandmother is recovering very well from her heart attack, and she should be just fine. Her heart will always be a bit weak, but that would be expected.
As for my writing, recently, I haven't had as much time to write. The next part to my story is in progress, and I'm working on it when I have the time.
Which brings me to ANOTHER rant...
What's wrong with you people?! I have so many watchers, and about 5 of you comment, and only 1 of you ever comments on my writing. I don't expect you to comment on every picture I draw, and every story I write. I myself fail to post a comment on every single submission on my list. it's impossible! But if you're going to watch me, you can at least compliment, or criticize my work once in a while. if you aren't gonna view or comment on my work, just take me off of your freakin' watch list, cus there's no point in me being there. I'm a waste of space on your watch list. That is all.

It's easy to understand the motive behind laws like HR669,but like you said why should responsible people who know how to care for their exotic pets have to suffer for the actions/inactions of a few dummies
