Tonight is my last night in Australia for two whole months as in the morning, I'm getting on my international flight to America! It's my second trip over there and I couldn't be more excited! I cannot wait to be back and for all the new adventures ^^ But...it brings a whole lot of sadness at the same time...
When I traveled over to America for my trip last year, I was super excited and rearing to go, (not that I'm not this time, I'm more than ready!) but this time, since attending the furmeets and making so many new and amazing friends throughout the year, it makes me sad that I won't be able to attend the weekly meets and see my friends for the next eight weeks. Last year, I never had a support network like this and the pack of really close friends I have made along the way who I now know of as a second family, to leave them all is like there's a hole in my chest...
Yesterday, my ever wonderful and fantastic girlfriend knew of how I felt and posted to the group on facebook that I was leaving and everyone to give me many hugs, which did happen! All of the hugs made me feel better. I also got the first sausage as decreed by the sausage minion since I'm ditching the meets for a couple of months xD
So yeah, I guess that's how I'm feeling currently. I also feel like I'm going to forget stuff, even though everything is packed already. xD
