Long term vs. short term, advice plox!
1. I'm getting a new computer
2. I'm trying to improve my credit
I was planning on building a desktop this month.
I have the cash for it, but I wanted to apply for a credit card first.
I was looking in to different airline credit cards so I could get flight points with this purchase I'm already going to make, and then immediately pay the balance down to help boost my credit score.
But now there's a sale going on that has reduced the total cost of the computer I'm looking at by about 30%.
Do I stick to my long term goals (improve my credit and try to get flight miles towards visiting family) and wait to apply for a credit card then wait for it to arrive before buying? Or do I save money/get a better computer for less by taking advantage of the sale happening this week?
D:
Also, it's a business computer and I need it to replace my rapidly dying current system. so there's that.
TL;DR Buy computer now, pay less. Or Buy computer later and improve credit score + get flight miles?

In the long run, if you got your CC and rose your credit, that is a much better long term goal over getting your computer right now - it's totally up to you, but credit helps you a lot in the long run.
