Is Windthor just poorly designed?

For the record, I have nothing against what the artists have drawn for me. In fact, it's more my fault than anything else, since it's far more likely that I'm just being unclear with my requests.
However, I've noticed something about when people draw my characters: When people draw Fiona, even with different artists, her design is consistent across the board, for the most part; When artists draw Windthor, it's much more inconsistent.
Granted, it's not so inconsistent that it looks like he'd be a different character, but still.
Do people just not like drawing Windthor? If that's the case, why? And what would need to be changed about him in order to make him a bit more appealing?
I'm really a lot more curious than anything else.

Well, the reason I asked if he's poorly designed is that, when I give someone Windy's reference sheet, they seem to forget or forgo details of his design that they don't with Fiona. Like, the spot on his eye. Or the scales on his elbows and knees, sometimes they make those spots on his fur, when they're not.
Or, once, when I mentioned to someone that I wanted one of his scars to be slightly jagged on one end, they made it straight.
It's not that they're bringing their own flavor, it's that they're literally not doing the character in the way that he's actually designed sometimes.
The better question, I suppose, should be, "Do people not enjoy drawing Windthor because of his design?"
