To join Furries for a Cure at the Relay For Life of Onslow County (Jacksonville, NC).
April 15-16, 2016.
Our team is looking to raise $2400 or more to fight cancer. This is one of the biggest Relay events in the country!
Last year we doubled the number of fursuiters to 8. We want to double that number again this year!! Everyone who has participated the previous year cannot wait to return next year!
We even had a fur fly in from Texas to join in the fun, so why can't you?
It's an awesome fun time, just like a convention, and it's for a good cause!!!

Right now we have furs coming from Raleigh, Myrtle Beach and the Greenville/Spartanburg area.
Let me see how full I get. Right now I have two locals riding with me. If the last slot is still open, I'll swing your way and get you.
We can talk more about it at Fangcon if you can make it, as several of us who do the Relay will be there.
I'm trying my hardest to make it work so I can go to Fangcon hopefully we'll be able to swing it
I will send out plenty of reminders as time gets closer.

I have lost a family member and my wife to cancer, and know many others who are fighting that battle. I'm pretty motivated!!

In the last 15yrs I have lost my grandfather, an aunt, 3 uncles and a cousin to cancer. My mom and step-dad have also had pre-cancerous polyps removed from their colons. My older step-brother currently has colon cancer and has had to have a significant amount of tissue removed and reconstructive surgery. So, yes I too and motivated. I thought I could dodge it since I don't smoke. Anyone who smokes in my family gets it. But nope, anti-rejection meds got mine going.
The big hit for me was the loss of my wife.. It took me a long time to get past that, and I still miss her..
You never know what's going to trigger cancer..
I have no idea how to set up any of it though.
