So! Couple things; I'm considering dropping the Paw-Post down to once a week - just on Friday's. As mentioned in the Tuesday one, it's getting hard to post two up a week given that the time taken to build them AND format them can chew up a lot of free time I don't have. :/ The catch is that it means there will be more pictures on the Friday one, and up to week-old pictures so not as fresh. Or... I dunno, maybe just also make the Tuesday ones conditional upon my schedule for the week.

SO... prior to this going out, I posted on FA and Weasyl about a classification system for footpaws/feet that should help make it easier to Identify what type of paw is in the picture link for those who are only into particular footpaw types. Rather than repeat it all here, have a look in either of the journals for more clarification along with picture examples of each type:

Why: BECAUSE CHARR... and SERA! *takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly* Okay... part of me wants to jump up and down pointing at the screen going "EEHHHEHEHEEEEE!" with this picture. This is the sort of pawesome that just kinda leaves you at a loss for words for a moment. Admittedly, this is two BIG alluring factors for me - charr, and Sera. LOVE the charr, and have always loved Sera's character because she is just SO into feet. Now! You may be asking "Wait a minute... I thought Sera was only into female feet?" And technically... you would be correct, but, the charr are SO damn sexy that they are above the rules for Sera. So here we have Nero, who happily agreed to the little dragon's request of "Can I lick your feet?" and then some! Nero is a full-size charr male, so yes, that is scale-accurate for just how massive those soles would be on little 5'8" Sera. Now I just love how completely into it Sera is - snout buried between those massive toes, tongue lapping away and mind just completely lost in that moment. Extra sexy that his other paw is squishing down on her beautiful chest, and you can see she's very much getting off on the moment. What's nice too is that Nero seems quite amused and turned on by just how much the dragon is getting off on his feet, and his own excitement is rather obvious. That all just adds up to make this SUCH a good picture. We even get a very nice look at Sera's sexy soles as she lays there. So... yeah, for me, pictures seldom ever get better than this. XD

Some Q&A

(TC) What sort of interest in footpaws do you have (if any - and feel free to explain maybe why you like drawing them)?

(Keedot) Mostly anatomical, actually. I like the look of them, though I guess that applies to general "foot like appendages". They're interesting to look at and just about as expressive as hands.

(TC) Yes! I find feet/footpaws can be immensely expressive as well - they can really communicate what's going on with a scene or portray an emotion well. Do you find that challenging to convey in an image, and do you have a good example of it in your work?

(Keedot) Actually, yes I do! Body language can be very subtle and it's something that can happen in a blink, so its hard to think about what to include or how to include it. There's also always the chance that you might make too subtle and then people don't notice at all!

I'm really bad at picking so I'll give you two and not one, haha. "Soft Pink". This was a vore commission for KibaCheetah where he requested to have an apprehensive sort of look. I always liked how it came out; one of the things I tried to do was position the feet so it looked like two things at once, pushing up against the predator in discomfort or fear, but also rubbing his toes in the fluid, because the slick/warm feeling is both nice, and gross. https://www.weasyl.com/submission/6.....k-details-vore / https://www.weasyl.com/submission/6.....tpink-vore-alt.

There's something cute and coy about shifting one's feet when you're with someone you like. Flexing/curling toes can also be just involuntary, just a reaction to building tension. :)

(TC) What type of commentary do you like on your work? What sort of comments do you not like, or don't want (say, creepy comments or whatever)?

(Keedot) So long as they're respectful toward myself (the artist, and my main 'sona Kee the Oryx), I don't really mind of people are expressive or a little creepy. There's always of course, nice friendly comments that tell you what attracted someone to a picture or why they faved it if they did, those are my favorite :> It feels very nice to know when people like something you made.

(TC) Do you have anything you'd like to personally say to the folks in the Paw-Post?

(Keedot) ;A; Thank you, you guys are so nice; I'm honored! And also happy to see things geared specifically toward paws. Now I can go though and find even more artists to watch <3

(TC) How did you start drawing, and when/where/how did that end up leading you to the furry fandom?

(Keedot) Ahhhm. I've been drawing since I was a kid like many other artists. I guess I started actively trying to better myself and study toward that sometime around 07-08 which is right around the time when doing "art" became a goal and not just "something I maybe like to do". I've been a furry all my life, at least going by the definition of a person who enjoys anthropomorphic art and characters. I used to draw a lot of unicorns and dragons and people with animal parts (I'm looking at you, kemonos) and things like that; I ended up joining an oekaki board where someone introduced me to the word "furries", VCL and eventually Furaffinity sometime after that.

(TC) Do you have a particular favourite sort of footpaw you like to draw, and why is that?

(Keedot) -chuckle- I honestly like any sort of foot-like appendage, though if I had to pick I'd say I like long toes (like rat or lizard feets) and big claws where you can see the quicks. I also like large paws in general, big cats, big canines. Rabbits have the cutest paws, since they're thickly furred and extra soft. Raccoon and lemur feet are interesting and anything with thick pads is fun to draw. I also like monster feets since you can pretty much combine whatever you like and though they aren't paws I very much enjoy hooves.

(TC) Does your interest for footpaws (if you have one, that is), spill over into real life and humans?

(Keedot) It does! Just more in a... curious? sense than a "fetish". I enjoy studying the variety in toes and shapes. I like the relation of say, how having overly long claws affects how a dog stands so their toes might become splayed or be held compactly and perfectly shaped or how a foot might look when walking naturally as opposed to when wearing high shoes. I like looking at the differences between bony, angular large feet (on people) and delicate, smoother ones, or gently squeezing my cat's paws so I can feel how their toes work; they're incredibly good about tolerating that. Slow motion videos of felines scratching, birds gripping prey and dogs launching from agility equipment are interesting to me ;; Feet are really, really detailed and interesting parts! So in real life, it's more about just being curious about how they work and look than anything else.

(TC) What is your favourite sort of commission or drawing challenge to get?

(Keedot) I like sensually romantic yet adult-y commissions ^^; There's something very nice about a picture that is sexually charged and things are happening, but it's not the main focus of the art. One of my favorite things to do is just add details like a tender stroke or a curling toe. I'm a sucker for romanticism. I also really enjoy size-difference, it's always challenging to figure out how to fit things (and it usually gives you a marked variety in foot size.)

(TC) Do you have any sort of advice for anyone who would like to take up drawing (like where to start, or something that is helpful)?

(Keedot) Draw, draw, draw and don't stop. If you see someone you think is better don't quit because you think you'll never be that good, instead study and look at references and try, and keep trying. Art isn't a race, don't worry if you're not getting good fast, just worry that you're trying your best.

(TC) One thing that's easy to see in your gallery is that you have really diverse set of characters that you've drawn - do you have a particular favourite type?

(Keedot) I like snakes or nagas in particular, which is a little contradictory as my sort of snake have no feet at all, but what can you do? Other than that though?. I'm very happy to have that that kind of variety, commissioned or mine. There's something very satisfying about saying "Yes, I can draw that" when someone asks, maybe I haven't drawn everything, but I try to do my best every time.
