So my room is always a fucking mess.
I can't clean it to save my life. Manga here, Anime there, DVD's and computer games haphazardly stacked higher than my headboard. Blankets, Pillows, Clothes both clean piles and dirty piles.
My room has always been and will forever by a sty, until I get a man who forces me to keep it clean :P The rest of my house however is SPOTLESS. You wouldn't believe someone who keeps their kitchen/diningroom and living room as spotless as mine are would live in a bedroom you can barely see the floor of.
The odd thing is...I always buy expensive bedding, comforters and Pillow cases that match the drapes, and I make an effort to always have my bed pretty and made with decorative pillows, like you are looking a t a bed in a Sears Catalogue.

I cant even do that due to my allergy =_=
suggestion, try getting some boxes to put your manga / anime / DVDs in and label them so that you'll know where to find certain mangas / animes / DVDs when you want them ^^
Then again, my room is pretty much just a bed and a liiiitle bit of floor :P
It's CLEAN, in the not-moldy kind of way. but I have books EVERYWHERE, and my clothes are in a pile for clean and dirty (separate, dirty gets washed weekly)
Same with just about everything of mine actually.

Sounds a little like both my room. I do have a system though so everything, while being messy, is in its place.
