I am shocked and saddened to hear about this.. Cancer is a fight that almost half of the people in my life have struggled with and although it is a different case and situation with each person, being brave and hopeful are two of the best weapons you and your friends and family can use right now.

I know it may seem like a hollow thing to say but if you can, stay positive! You are exactly right to in trying to do so. I'm not a praying man, but if concentrating and sending positive thoughts and feelings count for anything, they're on their way from me.
