This is something that's been on my mind for a while now

I think I've come to a point where I don't really know what my fursona is. I do like otters and find them very cute, but I almost feel like my preferences change so much that it's silly to settle on one. For the time being, the otter called "Rope" is still representative of me, but I don't think I can have just that one. I know that being fickle/indecisive is a negative trait and I'm really working on it, but for now, I'm going to be playing with the idea of changing species.
I think it would be good to hear what you all have to say regarding the matter. Further, if any of you have any advice on how to become more decisive or less fickle, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, I actually have a few species I have been considering; they are:
- Lizard (a fairly generic one)
- Goat
- Frog
- Bird of some sort
For as many bunnies as I've been drawing, that's one I hadn't really considered, haha.
For art, I'm currently working on a piece for a friend, so I might not be submitting anything noteworthy for another day or so.

I admit, my last few fursonas were chosen for not the greatest reasons. I chose jackal because I thought they looked cool, then I chose otter because I like to swim, then I choose crow because I find them adorable, then I went back to otter because people preferred that. x3
But I want to choose one that I know I can stick with. One that I won't waver from, regardless of what changes in my life. I need to learn to be more decisive and I want this choice to be one that I won't change again. I want to know how some people can choose one and stick with it for the long run. I want to be like that.
Dom calls me a cranky goat when I'm being particularly cantankerous (he calls me "Tank" as a result).
But seriously try out the goat idea, might turn out cute.
And I like that way of thinking, honestly. It's nice to refresh yourself, right? ^^
My go toos have been cats and dogs these days, but I do like me some owls.
And I hear that on the money problems; it's a regular struggle in summertime especially. x_x
And I concur on the crow 'sona. I thought it was really cute, personally XD
Admittedly, I think I am leaning more towards a reptile of some sort, but I do really appreciate the input (and thank you for telling me how you decided on yours; I don't think you've told me before and it's interesting to learn how you decided~ ^^
And I think that reptiles and birds are somewhat related in different ways (at least some are).
I daydreamed about seeing dinosaurs yesterday and really wish that I could see them, LOL.
I think that reptile is what I feel the closest connection to, though. (That said, if you still want to call me "Otter", I think that's cool :3 )
