Well folks, when it rains, it pours.

After meeting CyberWuff at FanExpo, I was at a friend's place when I received a call that my dad had passed out and hit his head at the back of a bus, and when he came to he was vomiting profusely. So... to the hospital ER I went.

Turns out my dad has not one, but THREE brain aneurysms. One of which ruptured. We find out later, that both his carotid arteries are occluded, meaning they're blocked, 100%, and that the vertibral arteries (the two arteries that run along the spinal cord to supply blod to the brain), and one of them had to be blocked because that's the one that burst.

Oh, did I mention when he was admitted his blood pressure was 220 / 208? Yeah... interestingly enough were it not for the occluded carotid arteries, he'd be dead. He's still alive, he's awake, and can speak, but he's not out of the woods, far from it, he's got one artery supplying blood to the brain where there should be FOUR. So... there's going to be discussions in the near future about having a bypass surgery done to provide his brain with adequate blood supply.

So.. for the time being.. I am going to be away because of this... so... yeah.
