Despite virtually no sleep, I'm feeling pretty darn inspired this week. Not only is one of my all-time favorite franchises getting its own TV Series - Ash vs Evil Dead - but AMC is embracing The Rule of Cool with its own new series Into the Badlands. Finally, stories I can sink my teeth into! Considering this is the stuff I write in mainstream fiction, it makes me smile like a loon :)

Fear the Walking Dead - just started and is really good... more the every-day man than gun-slinging Rick Grimes.
Banshee - Small-town Noir. Really good writing, ball's out action, and brilliant characters. Third season just ended, but the DVDs are super cheap.
Strike Back - Military action... but with great writing and gritty storylines.
Penny Dreadful - Victorian horror with tons of Period characters like Frankenstein and Doran Grey.
... all very mature though...
