I don't think your doing anything wrong just people don't want to commission right now. With the the run up to christmas money is tight.

I suppose you're right about the christmas thing, (although it is pretty stupid that people start prep for it this early), but just feel that I'm giving people a pretty descent deal here. I mean, some people do sketches for like $20, and I'm doing them for $5. Sure I'm not on the level of people like Essence_Of_Rapture or nihilist~mut but I know I'm good enough to know that I'm selling myself short

And it's not just this one time ether. I've done a hand full of YCH's and other monthly commissions stuff like this and vary few people actually respond to them and normally it's the same 3 guys (who I am so very grateful for.)

IK how you feel. Im often told i undersell myself but If you want people to comm you u gotta be cheap. Id say you could raise your prices a little bit mabey by a few dollars. no one will notice ><. As for the lack of customers you just need more advertisement. Mabey ask a few well known aritsits if they would boost you

I've been trying to, but I'm as social online as I am offline. I feel so awkward asking for them to boost me. The people I have asked say they don't do stuff like that out of principle and then I feel like crawling under a rock afterwards.

I wouldnt stress about it dude. You musnt treat this like a job. You most likely wont get a regular income from commisions as its up to people whether they buy or not. Also its very competitive there are so many artists out there its hard to get known. I'v only had about 7 commissions since starting last year whereas some people like Ess get Full slots everytime they open
