We had it towed to one place that examined it and told us everything that was worn out and damaged, and gave us a total of $873. My mom, smelling bullshit a mile away, called up another guy from another shop across town, and said he'd do the exact same repairs and replacements for half of that. It was towed there today.

I'm still without a car for now. I'll be able to get a ride to school tomorrow, and hopefully my car should be done by the end of the day. $400 is a lot though. :c
