If your struggling for ideas just tell the artist what's on your mind and what your after and leave the rest to artistic freedom. Art comes out really good when you allow that =3

Use them as a reference send a note to the artist with the idea and ref sheets and say go nuts =3.

I guess you're discussing the rest via note but in case you didn't: I'll do sketches/thumbnails of various poses I can come up with to choose from :)
(It's a bit sad there is no three-way-note system, but I guess the two of you will discuss everything among each other.)
