UHG Hoarders, Right?

Alright so, I've seen this word being used to be both positive (to an extreme) and negative (to an extreme), and I've yet to see it just be... a word.
If John Deer over here owns 100 species of one adopt, and does absolutely nothing with either all or most of them, that is completely fine.
If Jane Doe over there has only one of said species and invests the world into it, that is fine.
This does not make John Deer a jerk for having so many of X species. It means he likes them, it makes him feel nice having them. Does he have 5 you would DIE TO HAVE and you believe you'd be better suited to own them? I'm sorry you feel this way, and your feelings might be justified, but at the end of the day, he got to them first, so I'm sorry, but thems the breaks. And it's really rude of you to go MAN WHAT A HOARDER UHG he's just... just... just!!!
Just what? Showing his love for the species? Giving money to the one who made them? Does that make him bad?? No.
Does this make you bad for feeling that way? Ehhh, I'm not about to damn you for having feelings. We all have our own sins, and we're all going to rant about one thing or another, so that's fine.
Riiiight up until you make your dislike obvious, and start tossing out insults. Then you're bad.

Jane is not better than John for putting all her love into one. John isn't better than Jane for having more-- which brings me to the overly positive aspect of being a 'hoarder'.
As I've tried to express, I have nothing against “hoarders”. I don’t care if you have 1 adopt, I don’t care if you have 100 adopts. What I DO care is when people start acting like they’re superior because they have 100 of X adopt.
How does that suddenly make you superior?
John has 100 adopts, John parades around as if he’s hot shit, but he rarely gives them all love and just likes to flaunt how manyshe has when the situation is right/wrong.
Jane only has 1 adopt, because she doesn’t have the money to drop willy nilly on all these adopts, but damn does she ever love the one she has, and gets really involved in the community, and builds stories and draws pictures, and golly look at my 1 I’m so proud of it!!!
Frankly, Jane over there may very well love her adops more, but you know what?
That doesn’t make Jane the best. Nor is John the best. Adoptables aren’t a competition. They’re something you love, for whatever the reason may be, they’re something you love.
And if you’re in the adoptable community with the only thought in your head being ‘I’m going to be better than everyone else’ then damn, that’s really sad. Whatever makes you happy I guess, but keep that poor frame of mind away from the rest of the community that isn’t here to ‘be the best’, but is here to have fun and make friends.

It really would tho xD If people minded their own... or kept their dislike private? Now I believe you should speak up if someone is being an ass, but if you're just peeved that someone has something you wanted, then man, keep it to yourself >:V
I think I've only gotten around to drawing actual art for maybe half the designs I own, but that doesn't mean I'm not "using" them. I have little stories and ideas for all my babes, and they're usually the characters I draw when I do warmup sketches or placeholders. Hell, sometimes I just like to look back at the original art and swoon over the designs I own. It makes me happy. So who's to say this can't be the case for others, especially those who maybe don't draw or write, but simply admire the creativity of others and simply want to own a piece of that for themselves?

Tempted to put all this on your journal too so more people see it considering that's where the community is lol.
I do NOT want people feeling like they need to avoid the community. The community is for people who enjoy the species. Hell, I don't care if people don't even HAVE one of X species. If they like the community then by all means immerse yourself in it.
I just want people who are public assholes to keep themselves 45940496098845 years away from my community >:U
it's alright to be sad that someone else has a design and might never even make use of it, or flaunt it like a trading card to get something better- but in the end they did get it, and that's where it should end. find something else/new to make you happy instead of focusing instead upset feelings on that one person, yea?
