I mean, it should be in your -style-, I'm just sayin' hooves 'n tails wouldn't be right. You're simply replacing/adding things that just aren't there to begin with.

I actually agree with the above/below poster. I think the best option is doing it completely in your style, but without any changes to the character design. That's how fanart is done best, a new artistic interpretation with the character design itself left intact.

Otherwise, it feels like a halloween costume equivalent.

Try both and see which works for you. I kind-of agree with Komari above that no tail, no hooves is part of the character, sort of like MLP can be anthropomorphed more by making them bipedal, boobs, etc, but then they're strictly an interpretation of MLP rather than MLP per se.

Mmmn, when it comes to doing show stuff, I always try to stay true to the show. So if it was me, I'd say no tails, etc. That's my thought.

I'd stick with how they are shown in the show, or improvise a way to hide the tail while it still being there :p
