Can you give me some pointers on drawing?

I've had over 3-4 years of practice. I think I'm missing something. Idk what it is yet...

Inspiration?

The only way I can get inspired is when I receive compliments. I only receive likes. It feels like people stopped caring.

If compliments are the only thing that can inspire you you're gonna have a hard time improving in art. :v It needs to be something you do for you, rather than for others gratification.

Also something you can do is just look at things other people have done and try to draw it yourself (just don't post things like this cuz people usually don't like their art to be copied, even if for practice reasons).

allow me to rephrase that, when I said compliment I meant criticism. I used to receive a lot of criticism that will help me on my journey of becoming a great artist but nobody wants to do anything like that.

Oh. I'm not really sure what to suggest; what I do is I look at what I've drawn and I try to figure out what I don't like about it, and then work on improving that part.

I do that as well. I think I'm just stressing out.
