A few dumb lil questions bout 'murica, for 'muricans

I'm just basing these questions on media like movies and stuff, but well yeah, wonderin bout em sooo what the heck, here I go:
-Are colorblindness -tests not common?
-Do people not lock the toilet/restroom/bathroom/whatever door?
-Do you use seperate shoes or something indoors? Doesn't seem like it, but I'm still wondering.
-Do people really set up chains to their car tires during winter?
-Macaroni with ketchup, have/would you eat it, does it sound weird?

FA+

I also don't fucking know what the hell is that...
It probably depends on eye doctor. One eye doctor I went to always tested for it, another did not.
-Do people not lock the toilet/restroom/bathroom/whatever door?
I always do. It depends on the person. To me it would be strange if someone doesn't.
-Do you use seperate shoes or something indoors? Doesn't seem like it, but I'm still wondering.
No. I remove shoes indoors, assume most people do too.
-Do people really set up chains to their car tires during winter?
Yes. i where I live has exceptionally bad weather, and without those driving is a lot more dangerous
-Macaroni with ketchup, have/would you eat it, does it sound weird?
Sort of, though we used ketchup once instead of spaghetti sauce once during a dark financial time.
Hmmm alright yeah interesting, I think that stuff's tested sort of commonly over here, I mean yeah, in my primary school our school nurse quickly tested everyone's colorsight with those lil things where you're supposed to see a number in that dotted picture thing, same thing when I went to vocational school. Never been to any specific eye doctor or such for those things XD
Oh and well yeah, with that car-tire-chain-thing, was mostly wondering since over here we just use seperate tires for that stuff X3 then again snow & ice is pretty normal here but yeah, was still sorta curious
- They weren't common in my area.
- Depends on where you are. I never locked the house door, but always the bathroom door. When I moved to the city, it flipped and I locked the house door and never the bathroom.
- I never wear shoes indoors. The only 'indoor' shoes we had were slippers.
- Chains on tires are mostly used on trucks who are going to be working. We'd chain our truck when we went to the forest to cut wood. They suck to drive on. The car feels really bumpy.
- Never heard of this, actually. Sound very weird. However, dipping french fries into ice cream is pretty popular.
With that bathroom locking thing, I've never really seen anyone over here NOT locking the door, hah. I mean yeah, apartment doors are always locked here (no way to open from the outside except with a key, no hinge outside), but well yeah when I was a kid and we lived in a house we kept the door unlocked during the day. But uh yeah about bathroom doors, I dunno, even if I'm all on my own, I always lock the door, feel weird if I don't XP
And hah yeah, macaroni or spaghetti or the like with ketchup is very common over here X3 I mean yeah, instead of mac&cheese, we do mac&macaroni, I suppose, hah. Kinda weirdly interested in tryin that french fries + ice cream thing tho, haven't heard of that before XD
Eventually, I stopped locking the door but always shut it. Then after we got married and had a kid, I just gave up on all privacy. He comes in and has entire conversations while we're in the bathroom. I only lock the door when I need peace and so that he can't get in,
Living in the country, I don't think we ever locked our house doors. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the locks on the doors didn't actually work. My dad hates locked doors for some reason.
Next time you get some soft serve ice cream and french fries, definitely try it.
-Are colorblindness -tests not common?
I've never had one done on me, nor have I heard on tem being done on people I know. I didn't know they existed till one of my friends was doing a school project on the, and wanted me to look over it. That said, I knwo two people (at least) who are some degree of colorblind.
-Do people not lock the toilet/restroom/bathroom/whatever door?
Depends. At home, I normally dont lock it because me and my family have an understood rule of "Door closed, someone's in there". I had to start locking it when my baby niece vists though, because she is too young to understand that and barges into any closed room she can (she's 2...oe 3. Or 4. I dont remember)
At school (when I live in dorms) I generally do lock the door. Both as a courtesy so no one tres to come in while I'm using it, and secondly becaue different people follor different bathroom rules.
-Do you use seperate shoes or something indoors? Doesn't seem like it, but I'm still wondering.
Bedroom slippers are a thing. Also moccassins. And let me tel you, they are sometimes the coziest and most comfortable thing. They're also convient, you just slip em on and go.
Except I'm too lazy to put on a whole nother shoe when I can use walk barefoot. Or wear socks. That said, I do have a pair of sandals I might slip on whil I'me inside, but thats only because they're quick and easy and they're not exclusive to inside.
-Do people really set up chains to their car tires during winter?
Never heard of that one. Then again., I live in the south and I suppose this is a COLD weather thing. We dont get REALLY cold winters. Like, maybe some frost and cruncy grass, maybe some ice on occassion, but nothering too bad.
-Macaroni with ketchup, have/would you eat it, does it sound weird?
Haven't eaten it. It sounds weird to me. I might try a noodle or two and decide from there. But this is all personal.
I know people who douse ketchup on nearly everything.
And hah yeah, indoors I'm barefoot almost always, tho well yeah winters are abit more troublesome since floors are abit colder.
Aaand yeah, using ketchup (and mustard) with whatever is pretty common here in finland
Dang I want a hotdog now...
Also cool, Finland!
2. I guess it depends on the person, I know I do.
3. No, we don't. We generally only wear socks in side the house.
4. Yes, it makes the tires safer to drive on ice. No idea how, though.
5. No, and it sounds disgusting!
And well yeah, about those tires, pretty much anyone who owns a car has to change tires for the winter (and again for the summer), like uh, there's seperate type of tires for both winter & summer, I'm not completely sure what the difference really is, I know some winter tires have these small spike-like things but uh yeah
And hah, I'd prolly never eat mac&cheese myself XD my mom has kiiinda tried that, she just sliced some cheese and put it on mac but yeah, generally people just put ketchup on mac, or maybe some sorta sauce or whatever, but not cheese X3
