Fluffy ear problems
So I just received a pair of custom ears I ordered, and they're....fluffy. Like, REALLY fluffy. The maker suggested doing fleece on the outside and long fur on the inside because hyenas do have fuzz in their ears, which I okayed. But what I didn't expect is that the fuzz is so long you can't even tell they're supposed to be hyena ears!
I'm not sure what to do--I'm afraid they look a bit silly like this but I also don't want to mess with them because I have no idea what I'm doing. And they cost $30. And I'm a college student. Uh....thoughts?

It's not just me, is it? :x
EDIT: upon friend's suggestion, have emailed maker. I hope it doesn't feel too awkward.

Oh well. I mean, I like fluff. Can you tell they're hyena-shaped?
