I'm working on a Pokemon themed room. It's... very slow coming. :U I'm just not sure what all I want to do exactly. I've got a custom shelf idea planned, but that's going to require a lot of measuring, sourcing materials, and such, and will be a large project. I also want to frame some of my oversized cards, since wtf else do you do with them? :U
All I have atm are the painted walls ( link ) and a small bookshelf with the entirety of my Pokemon collection sitting on it, just waiting to be organized throughout the room.
So anyway. Do you collect Pokemon stuff? Plushies and toys and such? Where do you put it? I'd love to see Pokemon only rooms, since my room is Pokemon only. I'm just curious how people decorate without it looking cluttered.
Or maybe you don't have a big collection, but you have something Pokemon related that's really awesome? Show me, so I can be jealous and tell you how cool you are.
idk, I'm bored and really thinking about Pokemon right now :(

... No. >_> For me.
Adults still like stuff from their childhoods <o <
"I'm not weird, you're weird" is my motto, lol
But yeah, I usually skim through second hand stores for old plushies and the like. There are some fantastically hilarious bootlegs out there, and you can get some legit old plushies for cheap if you look in the right places. uvu
Fortunately, I've collected most of the first few sets since then, but it would've been nice to focus on other sets that I hadn't already had before.
Also unrelated to journal but I looove that wall light!
Is the whole house like that? :o
Is the whole house a Pokeball? Definitely not.. :P While our house isn't exactly the most typical house (we've got like, 3 game rooms...), the overall color scheme is very normal. Beige, mostly.
Oh no, I meant the lights! Not the poke-ball theme - but you answered that question as well lol!
If I didn't live in an apartment I would so paint my room like that and have a million friggin plushies. Especially Flygons n.n
Alas, it's not something that you can put on your wall, lol
Right now I just put it wherever. The Amiibo is sitting in a nice little niche on top of my CD collection between my DVDs and PC games, while the plush is on top op that same shelf. Keychain was the one I used for my keys until recently - I'm currently slowly scraping all the varnish off it because it got water damaged during a bad day of work in heavy rain. ;A; Cards are stored with other card-based game stuff next to my board games.
Nothing Pokemon, let alone anything else, has ever been safe in my home from my mom or siblings...
My mom cleans everything, meaning she throws out any of my belongings she finds...
My siblings like to spite me and teach me lessons... like how every first edition hologram Pokemon Card that was among the first made are worthless along with any and all collectibles... they enjoyed burning both my cards and plushies... they still do...
Did a quick google search! Glaceon - Leafeon - Flareon
My biggest wish back then was to get all of the Eeveelutions from that plush set (the pudgy ones, not the flopped style), but after a while I just stopped looking I guess! I still find them adorable, but I doubt I'll ever revisit the idea. xD
even stray people entering these rooms, may at any unexpected times find themselves materialized into the arena and expected to do so.
