Like I've mentioned before in a few descriptions, I've been doing some stuff outside of drawing. Yer boy Hen is taking a one-year Concept Art course, starting in October. This obviously has some implications to what has been my production schedule (if you can even call it that) for the past two years or so.
THE BAD:
Due to this, obviously it'll become far more difficult for me to hunker down and just make an entire piece as frequently, despite my improvements in time spent on each drawing. And because it's a course that I have to leave town to get to, means I'll be spending four hours of public transportation to come and go, every school day.
It's also a rather expensive course, so chances are that I might also end up having to get a part-time to help with the costs. I've been trying to figure out ways to make some money with my drawings, since that would incentivize me to draw outside of class a lot more, but so far it doesn't seem all that pheasable.
THE GOOD:
Thankfully, I only have classes three times a week. And while I don't personally like the schedule, having it start at the end of the afternoon still gives me a lot of time in the day to both procrastinate and at least attempt to draw in my free-time (at least as long as I don't have 'homework' to do), if we somehow manage to not need me getting a part-time.
It's also a Concept Art course, meaning that, not only will I be doing and improving on something I am very passionate about, it technically still means I'll be making stuff that (I hope) can be posted on my platforms.
So yes. Things are changing. For the better or the worst, nobody knows. Let's just hope that I survive this upcoming year (well, less than a year), and coming out with something to show for it. Until classes start, I'll try to keep doing a few more FF Lessons, but I also want to catch up to a few anime while I still have the time... we'll see.
In the meantime, I also want to try and figure out how to make a Tumblr blog, to use instead of that Facebook page, and see if I can get a separate page going for Final Fantasy Lessons. I hear ComicPress is pretty good, an it's free.
Later, folks. And don't you worry, I'm not going anywhere. x)
