I saw a Babar cartoon when I was younger that involved quicksand, and the thought of it looked amazing. I haven't had much of an opportunity to deal with it, especially any deep stuff, though... >.>;
What got me into it was actually Scrapheap Challenge. Seeing junk-built vehicles plowing through the muck and triumphing over it was inspirational and uplifting. What I like best about mud is when people or machines manage to conquer it as opposed to sinking.
That's a good question, and one I'm not entirely sure how to answer.
Only thing I can imagine is an answer similar to Da-Ti's further up - a childhood interest that I never grew out of. *glances at his video game collection* Apparently I never grew up.
Mmmm when I was 12, stepping in some and feelin funny. Remember seeing a teacher in outdoor ed step in some too and sink up fast and was like oooh damn. And a classmate sinking in soft red clay and getting just totally messy
I accidently got into a muddy field, enjoyed the feeling of it and saught to get deeper and deeper.
I already loved as a child to playing in the mud
and that has simply never changed.
Earlier we played Fusball, ticking, and Frisbee.
Today I like that too, but not only.
