Seriously? I really want to know? Because my art has really improved and I'm uploading regularly. When I make art for people they're always saying they are amazed how good it is. And I'm drawing lots of porn which is meant to be very popular.

So why? Why isn't my art getting more fav's and comments? I can even offer requests and only get one person ask for one.

So, seriously, what am I doing wrong?

Here is a list of commission prices I am currently offering. All are in US$. Examples may be NSFW. All prices include up to 3 characters (+$5 for every character after 3). Winged and Detailed characters accepted at no extra charge.

Dont always look at a situation Like this one sided. sometimes no matter what an artist does they continue feeling unappreciated. I always try to give comments on arts because journals like these pop up all the time. It may not be you. But your watchers as well. Everyone is different and in every community there are those who just don't give a craps about others. :( I am greatly sorry your going through this.

I actually feel very strongly for those who feel sad/mad/forgotten wether it's an artist, writer, musician or even a regular ole Joe. I actually started a group for this cause but it's only a week old

^ - ^ No problem! I Love giving praise and good comments as often as I can. If I don't It's usually because I miss a submission, or I'm at work; but yeah, in the end don't beat yourself up too much. You can always get better and better and better, but if your Watchers are the type that just don't care, or don't care to say "wow I like this Piece! You did a good job!" you can never change that, no matter how awesome you get. <33

Well, I think it was a combination of things. I got some negative comments about my dialogue writing and, look, I wouldn't be so bothered about the love amount of comments if I got a lot of favs on original content. 80% of the favourties I receive go to the 20% of the art I post, which is all the commissions I get from other artist. It's like a living 80/20 rule.

I hardly comment on art any more because a lot of the time, the artist doesn't have the time and/or doesn't care and I'm cool with that. But I also think we all are just lazy lol. You know what you can do, you know how good your are. Don't look too others for praise, instead praise yourself. Be happy with what you have done. It's your opinions and thoughts that truly matter. When it's your time to shine, you will. Till then just keep doing your doing. If I can say one more thing, it's this. Don't blame yourself bro. It's not you, sometimes, it really is everyone else.

Yeah, I can understand that. And, yeah it might just be that others are too lazy to comment or fav. And I know my stuff has really improved, specially in the last year or two.

Just, sometimes, its nice to hear that others think that too, you know?

Your art has improved, big time. I've seen it. You are right, hearing from others is kind of nice but don't look too it for comfort, bro. Leave that to your girl and yourself. Keep drawing and keep improving. One day you'll get so much praise, you'll beg everyone to shut up.

I know I've been faving a lot of your stuff recently, so I'm definitely adding to that part, but when it comes to commenting.. I rarely comment for the reason that was mentioned above, namely that artists are usually too busy to respond (I'm assuming that's why), and I'm also 100% okay with that. Just doesn't give me a reason to comment, so I just fave to show my appreciation.

Also.. I rarely actually check journals, so the fact that I saw this one is mostly by chance. ^^;; But I'm glad I did, as it gives me a chance to add my opinion. ^^

Well, that's fair enough, and the fact that you fav is helping. Faves are like other artists saying, "Hey, I saw this, and I think you did a real good job." So that's a nice feeling. Just wish more artists did that you know?

Oh of course. I understand completely. It's always nice to get some form of recognition for the work you do. ^^ I shall try to remember to comment more often. I think the main problem is that when I'm on FA, looking through artwork, I'm more in the mindset of "This is damn sexy" than in a constructive criticism one, and most artists seem to prefer not to hear that others are turned on by their art. ^^

Well, I can honestly sa that if someone says my art is damn sexy I always find it a compliment. Usually because that's what I'm going for. lol
