Well, that was a con. As I said last journal, I spent a lot of it volunteering this year - 20 hours in the art show, to be precise. It was actually pretty fun, as I got to interact with a lot of people that way, and feel like part of the con. (And fanboy slightly when Rukis dropped by to put up art and such...)

Outside of that I managed to get to a few things. I got on mic in Buck Hopper's voice acting panel this time, which was fun, and attended a pair of book launches - the Inhuman Acts launch, and the RF Charity Anthology. I haven't interacted a huge amount with the writing community outside of panels in the past, so this was nice - all the authors signed everyone else's copies, so that was kind of fun. (And the writing GoH told me I was one of the first furry authors she ran across before knowing of the fandom. Ego boost +1) I also had the chance to socialize with some of the other writers informally, which was great as well. I'm usually a background kitsune, putting myself out in places like that is a challenge.

Anyhow, came home with a whack of books, 3 of which I've got stories in. Feels good!

Now to try and develop some new story ideas, maybe open for commissions again, and see what happens.
