IMPORTANT UPDATE

General
A'ight, so. I'm going to be out of the navy soon. I can't say I've been good during my time, and my work ethic was awful when it came to people I couldn't stand. I got in fights, slacked off, and never gave a damn about my appearance. The things that mattered, though? I did and I did well. I was in charge of a damage control shoring team, and we went from "adequate" to "best team on the ship, winning three championships." While I studied Arabic, I was an excellent student. The only thing that brought me down was my attitude.
Anyway, I'm less than two weeks away from being a civilian again for the first time since high school, and the thought is quite liberating. I can finally get away from these awful people, relax a little, and do a job that actually matters.
I'll be moving to LA immediately to live with my wonderful boyfriend Ky. I intend to get some kind of temporary job to get on my feet and keep money going while I look for a college and a major. To all my friends here in San Diego, I'm not gone for good, just around the corner. I'll still come down for meets and such, because y'all are great. ^w^
Depending on how hard it is to find a job, I'll be spending some time with my artwork as my only source of income. I'm not well-known, so I don't want to lean on that too heavily. Needless to say, though, requests are closed for a good long time. I have no idea what to value my work, or what works and what doesn't; I'm new at this.
Anyway, TL;DR: I'm switching careers, and this is a good thing (however complicated it gets).
I thank you all so much for showing your support and making me feel awesome. Just getting likes on my art is something I never expected, let alone watchers. ^w^
