I'm Bad At Small Talk, Like Really Bad
For someone who spends most of their time at a computer, I really don't chat to people much, in fact it's almost exclusively to my husband.
This poses a few problems with my communication skills, in particular, my ability to form a response to a single sentence that isn't a question. Reading all your comments has been very uplifting, and occasionally amusing, and yes I take time to read each and every one, as they are all important to me. : )
But I find myself wanting to respond to all of them, and sitting in front of an empty chat box with a blinking cursor with nooooooo clue what to say, and telling myself that it would be insincere to just say "thank you" or "I'm glad you're enjoying it" Because there's so much more to it than that. I can't decide if it's more rude to not say anything at all or to reply like a machine with a generic appreciative comment. D:
I'm sorry if it ever feels like I've ignored you, I really really really do appreciate all of your comments, and look forward to reading more.
I'll get better about forming responses, thanks again ya'll!

I usually end up saying what I can to the best of my ability and that's it, really. I want to be nice to people but I kind of leave it up to them to respond to my sometimes super brief response!
In saying that, I've slowly been getting better and have found that even the little I do say sometimes has made me a little better at the whole chatting thing over time. (It's still a lot of work, but I really want to try and talk to people who like my art and to people whose art I like too!)
Keep working at it! :3
Chatting is just a matter of practice =3 I only really ever speak to my partner and Ritchie everyone else tends to scare me x///3 but I keep trying!
