Dad's been out of the hospital for the past week or two, downside is he's stuck with a plastic bag for his waste, which he's not too pleased about.
Mom's been gone to Colombia for some surgery on her teeth as it's cheaper there since last week, leaving me home alone until the middle of next month. Only company I have are my pet birds and wishing I had nearby friends to help me get my mind off things offline... I just wish I didn't stupidly drive away my old ones before I finally got medicated earlier this year...

Still in the process of seeing if I can get an appeal to get SSI to help get me on my feet and not worry about commissions keeping me afloat while forcing me to set aside all projects I wanted to work on for even longer.

I still REALLY want to start working on things like animations, my planned webcomic, collaborations and such, but with having to need to lend mom money to help her with bills whenever she's short, I'm forced to stick with commissions for the time being so my account doesn't stay dangerously low on funds.
I'll wait it out to see if I get word if I do get accepted... but in the event I'm rejected again, please don't blame me for wanting to hike up my prices for commissions a little to curb traffic a bit. I had nonstop commissioners approaching me leaving me with little room to rest in-between and getting my shoulder sore as a result.
Nothing TOO ludicrous, maybe like $30 for one character inked instead of my previous $20 price. I'm still working on my potentially new prices while waiting to see what news I can get. Those that are still waiting on theirs or had a slot reserved previously will still be charged my old prices as they'd be grandfathered in.

So yeah, commissions re-opening will be TBA, just depends how things go.
