In her backstory, Pearl was originally all white. She only got her blue patterns due to being encased in ice for so long after having descended to Earth and gaining her ice powers. Her blue markings are a symbol of her ice abilities. :3 Her powers are, however, mostly light / healing and gives life. She is also not fallen - she was sent here to protect the flora and fauna on Earth and watch over it. But she accidentally plummeted when she descended, and fell to Earth and landed in the wrong location which is how she got encased in ice for so long. xD Since she landed in the Arctic waters in the North.
