First thing first, I decided to write down a little journal here following a suggestion coming from
dasherwhitetail, the commissioner who was behind the project of my recent comic, "I'm home, honey!". This project really meant a lot for me, both professionally and on a more... "empathic" way. So, once more, I'd like to thank Dasher for his will to choose me to bring on this comic to life! THANX!
Working on this comic, as said, took a lot of time and efforts. Not because of Dasher - he was amazingly kind - but because of the time itself I dedicated to each page. During the work I've been realizing things about myself too, my way to ink and color, and that was very positive for me. After all, this is my longest comic so far!
So, I decided to put my thoughs here basically because of two reasons: hearing your feedback on the comic itself (even if already many of you already commented upon the single pages), is there anything you didn't like or you loved above everything? Would you like to see, if any, another episode about those guys? So please, feel free to drop a line or two about your feelings about the whole thing!
And then, I wanted to add some personal reflections upon a topic that many of you already brought to attention... we're getting sexy here, so please be aware of that. I'm talking about the fact you don't actually see oral or anal sex in this comic. Yes I know, many of you cursed the commissioner, his "soft tastes", his fixation with frotting and masturbation and nothing beyond it. Many of you, on the other hand, defended the choice of the commissioner and his personal tastes; besides, anyone has his favorite things in life and in sexual life.
Needless to say: I'm with Dasher. I strongly support a choice going in a different direction, especially when it comes to something we're all so used to see - as furry porn comics. Even more, I strongly support it when the plot and the characters are actually interesting from many points of view! I loved that. And I really couldn't believe my eyes reading the anger in some kind of comments, just because you didn't have to see a scene involving some anal or oral action... Was it less intense, to you? Was it less interesting? IMHO: NO. I even discovered - thanx to your comments! - the definition of that practice: intercrural sex. So classy.
Of course, feel free to comment about this as well if yu wanna write down your personal point of view :3

Actually, sex is also based on cuddles, kisses, frotting, masturbation...nothing to say against oral and anal sex (i adore them), but personally it would be illogical that in a relationship there will be only rough sex.
Nothing to say against the art: I find your art very sensual, in the etimologic therm. Is not just rough pushing or violence, but a very cult of the body.
I adored this story and I'm willing to follow Dasher :3

We're allowed a small quota of creepy comments a year, as long as they're funny
But well yeah other than that, really liked all the pages myself! Think your art got better as pages progressed too, so that was awesome! Really, the only bit I personally found abit silly looking was the close-up mugshot on the second page, but eh yeah, nothing bad really! But yeah, characters stayed all consistant looking and such I feel, so that was nice - I mean yeah, some people, including me, have trouble keeping up characters looking the same througout different angles and what have you, haha.
But yeah, like other said, kinda hoping to see more of these characters! X3
If there's any kind of suggestion I would make, it's to get the Prev|first|next links on each page so people can read it easily.

PS: actually, Furaffinity added this "folders" option that allows you to group artworks in the same folder, but yeah, it kinda lacks still of a sequential order...
I think what makes it successful is that you mixed the x-rated sexy parts with a genuinely-interesting story. It's not something we haven't seen before--guy seduces a delivery guy, wham-bam-babyjam--but there was a sincerity in the way the characters behaved that sold them better than the thousands of porns that have the same plot structure. You managed to capture a sense of realism and made an unrealistic scenario feel tangible. I actaully started following you after I saw pages 3-5 and thought, "huh, this is definitely worth keeping track of." I wasn't really interested in the (hot) art nearly as much as I was interested in the scenario and the characters. I was attached. I've been on both sides of a similar engagement, so you could say I'm sentimental.
What really nailed this entire comic for me was the consistency in a few areas that are important to me (and also mark good craftsmanship): without gimmicks, you art maintained volume. The bull felt thick. There was texture, weight, wetness, etc. conveyed in the drawing and shading. You did remarkably well with the physics of your actors, and that's something I always look for (but rarely find) in art, whether furry porn or my students' senior portfolios. The characters' personalities were consistent between pages. Some works had bipolar or schizophrenic characters because they were written by the artist in entirely different moods where the discipline to keep on the plot faded away. When the bull's demeanor changed, it wasn't because you were in a different mood that page, but because he was, himself, in a different mood. It was clearly intention and well done.
As for the main question you had about the lack of penetrative sex, let me be the first to say kudos. It seems like everything around here is money shot or bust, and the simple pleasures of foreplay and more intimate encounters can easily get lost, rushed, or otherwise abandoned in favor for the mess... which... don't get me wrong: they're all good. Still, it's nice to see high-quality work that points out the reality of sex with a man who's greatly endowed: sex is a pain in the ass that takes prep time and sometimes days of recovery, and, because of the work that goes into taking something like that, it's almost not fun. (Having been in the buck's shoes... well, I get it.) It's just practical. It can be more intimate, which is the real selling point of this piece.
Let me tell you: the real hook for me was when I realized the buck didn't care that his bull slept around. And, now that I think about it, I really appreciated his character for that. I could go on. It's a porn comic on the internet, but I find myself writing a faux-professional artistic appreciation of it and feeling good. If this is a first step for you to discover a new area of your artistic vision, then please keep going. You've got a remarkable talent that should be pursued. Whether x-rated or not, I look forward to more of your storytelling. The comics and illustrations are icing on the bunt cake. ;)

I have to admit I started watching this comic in the hopes it went down another way and only found out how it was going to be written once I readed your journal ^^''
Nevertheless, knowing this now didn't take my enjoyment of this comic ^^ I liked the art, the close up panels to the characters faces were great (I really apreciated the detail ^^). So I certainly won't stop supporting it. It had it's sexy teasing momments, good poses and good dialogue.
Still don't know if the deer is gonna be ok with the fact that his boyfriend screwed around with another guy witought him knowing, but that's part of the reason why I'm reading this story.
Other than that, I just wanna say your comic looks great and sexy ^^ good luck for your next projects, your works are looking promising.
I honestly dunno about the future but yes, I could say I feel a lot motivated to keep it up with more comics ;)
other than that, this comic was great fap materi....i - i mean reading material overall. i'd read the sequel if it were to happen. :3
I'm all for penetration in porn, but it's not the only thing and it doesn't have to be in everything. Watching sexy guys get it on via frotting and masturbation is fun, too.
I enjoyed your comic quite a bit. I think one of my favorite things about it was that it was all friendly and that the bull and the deer have an open relationship and they talked about it. Yay for happy, emotionally healthy porn!
I'd be happy to see more of these two. The only suggestion I have for improvement is that some of the dialogue was a little bit awkward; if you want to fix that, you may want to find someone with English as their first language to double-check phrasing for you.

As far as Oral is concerned, I could do with less of it in my porn, expecially if it's used as foreplay but goes on WAY longer than really is nesscary. But yeah I enjoyed the comic and it's change of pace. Hope to see more stuff like that in the future.
I didn't particularly like the "spinning" around the room on page 6 with the cocks switching sides every panel.
In all it was a great comic and when is part 2 coming?

As for myself I'm not shocked about the absence of oral or anal sex, on the contrary I think it's another way to see some porn stuff.

I'm not even going to sugar coat it. A lot of that has to do with my personal tastes. I'm more of an 'ass man' kinda guy, so I enjoy seeing anal. But look, I'll be honest, I don't mind seeing something 'different'
unfortunately, the 'different' in this comic, was the thigh fucking, which honestly didn't even turn me on, and that's what disappointed me, and made this comic fall flat for me. It just seemed too odd for my taste. I dunno, its like the same as using a foot to paw someone off, neither really appeal to me.
So while the story overall wasn't bad, in the end, the nudity makes me horny, so when I got to the sex scene, I found myself not really turned on anymore, and that made me frustrated.

I hardly ever comment on stuff like this because I feel like we're stuck in a society these days where everyone 'HAS' to say something nice. It honestly annoys me, and its why I tend to stay quiet.
Some people who are going on about not minding seeing no anal sex, honestly I can't help but feel like some of that is the stuff I mentioned in the comment above about 'not saying anything negative'.
So to sum it up, yes I was disappointed in the lack of any anal, or really anything involving asses in general for the most part cause that's my thing. But the real reason I was disappointed, was because the alternative ended up being something that didn't interest me at all.
Look, its a commission, I get it. But you wanted feedback, here's feedback. I'm not going to pretend to be 'politically correct' here.

It's totally understandable: you didn't appreciate it too much, and you didn't attack Dasher (or me). It's just I couldn't believe my eyes when I was reading some comments, so filled with anger for the lack of "some sexual practices" in the comic, while there where "other sexual practices". You also mentioned a paw-job and asses and that's exactly the point: as you said, it is totally a matter of personal tastes, and everyone has his own... So, why blaming Dasher? He has the right to commission what he wants, as everybody else. Writing rude comments about him and his choices is something I can't possibly excuse: it's like asking him to stick with your (in general, not yours specifically!) personal tastes, and that would be absurd in any case...

It was a bit refreshing and interesting to see a comic that contained a different approach to the sex scene. (I didn't mind the lack of an anal/oral part)". After all, FA is plenty of furry porn. If someone just wants to see any anal sex, he can just go to look elsewhere. There is no point of complaining about the artistic decisions. (It’s like if someone expects any non consensual picture from my gallery. That would never happen)
The intimate part between the deer and the bull (I apologize for don’t really know their names) was well done, and interested me a lot more than the part with the horse.
The only thing that I found odd in this comic was how the bull behaved in some situations. It gave me the impression that he didn’t care to be a bit disloyal. In fact, the sentence where he told that the horse was into bulls confused me a little. Are they in an open relationship?
I liked the pacing of the comic. It built up to the sexual aspect a bit and then kept it light and teasing. The plot was mixed in at the right points to make its pace not sluggish but fluid.
And what really hooked me was the sense of dominance from the bull without being demeaning or egotistical. As well as the progression of what we learn about the pairs relationship and possible plan for the delivery boy in the future.
So yes, I loved the comic and would most certainly like to see another installment in this story!
P.S. I know this is over sharing...but frotting was absolutely incredibly HOT and the shower scene made me need a shower of my own!
I particularly enjoyed the underwear tenting and would love to see much more of it in another comic of these three, a lot of it.
Every day I kept checking for the next page, I couldn't get enough.
In all honesty I was rather bummed when I realized the comic was over.
Should it be available as a physical comic, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
The content of the comic are questionable is a logical sense.
The cuckolding/cheating part I find morally deplorable but I guess it gets some people hot and bothered.
Seduction part was ill poorly thought out. Nobody answers the doorbell in their boxers or flashes the delivery boy.It comes off as **sex-offender**ish and breaks the immersion. The defence of its just a **porn comic dont think about it** doesnt work because the whole appeal porn is to create a plausible ''what if'' scenario that could happen in a mundane setting. It's proximity to reality makes it that much more tangible and enjoyable. So if you are going to bother to create a relatable setting with relatable characters why not go the full mile and make the whole scene believable too. It could've been done with so something so simple as putting on a dressing gown or some lazy pants and an excuse for the characters uncouth appearance.
On another note. I know English isnt your first language so its behooves oneself to find someone who is to check for spelling and authenticity of the dialogue
Choosing to give characters human feet and genetalia is not a stylistic choice I endorse but to each their own.
As far art is concerned. You done a good job nice work with perpectives but pay attention to your expresions. They come off as goofy especially when the bull wakes up and the ''o''-face also looks kinda wonky as in not the kinda of face one would have when they climax.
No anal/oral is kinda let down but its expected with Dasher. Its his money so he calls the shots and we are just lucky we got to have a free comic.
One last suggestion maybe try to release everything in one go or in big chunks. The waiting period between each page is the definition of being blueballed.
