I think you should get at a animal clinic maybe? Or a pet shop where they just watch over animals and take care of them so they can be up for adoption. ':)

Veterinary studies, biology (specializing in animal health), dog training, animal husbandry (UNH has a good farm/husbandry program), but a good start is a biology program that focuses on macrobiology/animal life.

Biology is really competitive and you don't make a lot the first few years. I would suggest being a Veterinary! However, that field is also very competitor.

I know this also bothers me that the Vet field is super competive.... Gahhh.... It's almost like I don't know what to do with myself and I keep beating myself up over this. Yet, Ive always wanted to be a vet ever since me being the age of five. Then I would shy myself away from it because the thought of cutting open animals to do surgery horified me. I have had plenty of pet deaths in my lifetime which is what brought upon me wanting to be a vet. I have a passion for animals and not people I know I still have my options open but I don't exactly know what. I am great with dogs and I love dogs. My previous dog that I owned was the shiyest dog ever and I turned her into the sweetest dog in the world- people didn't know how I did it- but I did.
