I have not posted a lot, but that's for good reason. School has got me very busy. Instead, Ill attempt to stay relatively in touch through journals.
School is still taking up a lot of my time. I am currently studying for one test, especially after a test in a different class didn't go so well.
The car still isn't fixed, which has been frustrating me. I spent $60 on a blower motor, and that didn't fix the issue, now I may need a $110 part next that is in an even tighter spot. There's still a long list of problems it has. With how much work the car needs, I'm very hesitant to keep working on it. It seems I fix one issue and then another pops up. Please no 'funny' comments on how, "That's how cars work!" I have dealt with this for too long and it is no longer funny.
I did break and upgrade my Lightwave license from an educational to a commercial license. What does this mean? I can now sell the models I make. Or I can freely use the models I make in 3D game engines.
Why did I upgrade now when money is so tight? The program is normally $1100, and an upgrade from one version to the new one is normally $950. I got the upgrade today for $400. This was my last chance to get it at this price. If I waited, I would have spent a lot more.
Money will be tight for a long while. Buying this license now may come back to haunt me, but in the long run I believe this was the right choice.

I'm sure the LW purchase will prove to pay off in the long run though, and I can't wait to see what a real digital artist does with it <3
