I just lost a friend and fellow fur to cancer, and the last thing I wanna see is another favorite fur/artist go because they pushed themselves beyond their limits due to health and deadlines.

Agreed. In addition to not being conducive to better health, you don't want to burn yourself out with work. You lose some productivity when you are sick and have to take a break, but you lose a lot when you can't bring yourself to pick up the pencil for the next few months. I did that with work a year ago, still not completely over it.
