You could just insyall ad block

I think the last thing fa would ever do is put any ads with viruses, I mean like remember the ddos attack. Yeah they dont want the site to go down again not with the cloud server running fa anyways

It might be either from over time it gathered up or you visited a other non trustworthy site with something on there, like that fake Russian poster site using google search images and uploading malware just as soon as you visited the site...

FA is owned by IMVU now - to them this site is just extra ad space with a lot of traffic, the dont really care what kind of ads they put up or what they might link to/what comes along with them.
