Very, very tenatively might have a job.

Got an 8 hour one-shot thing on Sunday, installing memory in an assload of PCs for NY Life, for not much money but something to do. Got home, and had a call from a recruiter, for a place called Modern Enterprise Solutions. Didn't balk at 15$ an hour, so I probably should have asked for more. I hate interviews, and I hate phone interviews twice. Especially hate being asked 'how much money you want'... tell me how much you're offering and I'll decide it's worth it. XO.
It's nearbyish, so not a ridiculously long commute, depending on traffic and time of day... Definitely going to get 'when do you get a raise' in writing, and if I can, a minimum amount. Anyone have tips for that sort of thing?

I think next time they ask how much, I'm going to say 'half the kingdom and a fast horse, but I'm willing to negotiate.'.
(That was, by the way, horrible. Congratulations. :D)
I'm done.
Tried desperately to find a video of Gaz (from Invader Zim) saying "That...that was horrible!" but utterly failed.
Would half expect to go in for an interview and hear the doors lock, and then the chant of evil..."timeshare".
Had what claimed to be a Honda dealer call and say it was time for my car to be worked on. I asked her what kind of car I had. "A Ford f-150'. "Not even close. Buh-bye."
