True. I don't recall exactly, but there was the little girl alone, having run away from home once, and then run away from the people that were kind to her... well, she had the puppy, and some other lady came and took the dog, saying that it was her dog, not the little homeless girl's dog... Then, utterly alone and homeless and hopeless, she says "Oh, it was my birthday."
