I've been following CNN and The Weather Channel, Big Baroo, and I'm afraid to tell you that the worst is yet to come for 'The Lone Star State'. 'Hurricane Patricia' - which had made landfall into Mexico (as a 'Category 5' storm) last night is now heading northeast into Texas. And even though it has presently reverted back to 'Tropical Storm' status, it still poses just as big a threat for additional heavy rains and flooding as those showers which arrived earlier in the week. ..

Of course, I speak from personal experience, having dealt with three major hurricanes ten years ago, here in south Florida: 'Katrina', 'Rita', and 'Wilma' (the latter of which arrived exactly one decade ago today (October 24, 2015)!
