Double Standards Annoy Me -.-

So, as my last rant stated my boss is a dick. He's still being a dick to everyone because he's having a 'bad time' in his life... yeah ok and the rest of us aren't? In one month I've had two cats and a dog pass away, not to mention another very bad thing that just about destroyed me. Doesn't mean you get to bring it to work and take it out on everyone else and scream that "I don't bring my personal life to work!" yeah... you do, rather you realize it or not everyone brings a little bit of their outside problems and feelings in to work. And this is how his double standards work.
If one of his children have a frigging cold(mind they are all 5 years old and older) it's the end of the world and he needs to be at home with them for a solid week. My sisters son(my nephew who is 2!) pukes so hard in the car that it coats the back of the seat in front of him... she calls in saying that she has to take him to the hospital because he is very sick... omg it's the end of the world! She's in trouble because she had to miss half a day of work to take him to the hospital. Another girl at my work has a baby(soon to just turn one) and she had to stay at home and care for him because her husband was already at work and the babysitter wouldn't take him because he was sick... she got written up although she called in five hours early(we only require a two hours heads up) so that we could find a replacement, and she brought a Dr. excuse to prove that she had taken the poor kid(who was running a dangerous feaver of 105) to the Dr.
Now, going on beyond that, his double standards involving yours truely! His wife can come behind the counter because she is on 'payroll' for working at our other location when it first opened.... his kids... are not. Yet they get to come in and hang around in the way being a health and safety code violation because they are HIS kids... his best friend can come behind the counter all he wants apparently because it's his best friend. My mate stopped Tuesday night to tell me what the Dr said about his hand(he crushed it with a sledge hammer at work and pretty much shattered his thumb into a billion pieces) and it is the end of the world and I'm a shitty manager, I don't listen, I let all the things happen that he's told me not to let happen.
How the frig does that even work!? I mean seriously? Thus this girl is looking for a a new job and someone can have my position, I don't need the stress. What's funny is that when I walk out half my crew with follow me because they can't stand the other night shift manager or him really. This makes me happy and I feel loved.
The whole point of this... I HATE DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!! If you want your crew to respect you and follow your orders then you lead by example and follow your own frigging rules! Not let yourself and your favorites get away with whatever they want because you decide they deserve to break the rules because they kiss your ass and bow at your feet. -.- That is all, may stream a little later.
