Hey everyone! Guess what? I'M BACK!!!!!!!
....Well, sort of. Computer issues are sorted for the time being; we've resurrected the old beast with a healthy, new SSHD drive, and we've opted to go the route of having the Linux-based Ubuntu as our OS for now (the confirmation key for our version of Windows that we had isn't any good anymore, and we don't have the cash to spend on a new one). The computer's holding out all right for now; but we're still going to be looking into getting a new/refurbished PC here within the next few months.
More on that later, though. Right now, I need some help. I've never used any Linux-based operating systems before, so I'm kinda treading in uncharted territory right now. As such, if anyone has any information on things such as art programs that are similar to that of the Vista/XP version of MSPaint that are compatible with Ubuntu, please let me know.
....And just so we're clear, I'm already aware that GIMP is linux-compatible. I'll be downloading that to mess around with in the near future.
Also, if anyone has any sort of tips or information on the operation of this new OS, please don't hesitate to speak up! I've heard good things about Linux-based operating systems, so I'm eager to see how Ubuntu does for me.
