Am I the only one that doesn't follow "furry' trends?

Subs take it up the butt
No one has given me shit for it, if you're worried about that. To me, it feels like any trend that resonates with furries, everyone has to draw their sonas in that...."thing" they're going nuts for. Every Pokemon game has everyone changing their sonas to the new Pokemon they want to oggle and fap over (One moment, everyone's a Lucario. Next game, everyone's a Garchomp) Undertale brought about so many pics of that.....cow/dog/mom thing (usually with a massive rack!). And speaking of Undertale, now everyone's sona's in black and white.
Maybe I'm too old and just don't "get" these trends. Maybe I'm just happy with having my sona be what he is.

And I can see where you're coming from, in that "furry" trends tend to be quite strong.
But yeah. I am in the Undertale boat right now... I've done 4 pics in less than a month, and plan on doing more. One full page of my faves is more Undertale than anything else.
It's so unlike me, but, ehhh. At least I can hold my head high and am not opening up Undertale sprite commissions like some others do.
This is pretty much the heart of any trends. There are those that just want to fit in, sure, but they generally come at least a little later.
One really shouldn't worry about liking or disliking anything in a trend, as it just illustrates a nuance to oneself.
Not to call you one, but because it's a related topic, "Hipster logic" is a fallacy because it runs on the idea that "I don't want to be a part of something because everyone else is and I'll lose my identity and the ability to stand out." In actuality, because we as individuals can have so many likes, dislikes, and combinations in-between, we'll stand out simply by being ourselves, whether we like something or not. The more variables you add into something, the less and less likely you are to find identical outcomes.
Mostly just felt like typing a response and got my brain going x3;
