Call me biased, but I always thought it would be great to use a nocturnal animal that's relatively harmless (like, say a skunk?) for a goth character, just so they can use lines like "I am a creature of the night" without being threatening at all.

I figured it could fit the whole dark motif, with the black fur... or maybe you could do a bat. They're dark colored, and usually nocturnal...

I dunno, maybe I'm just silly.
