Car Troubles.

Stay tuned for a very important announcement!
Well I was driving to work today and the brakes on my car decided to give out. Thankfully I wasn't going fast/didn't get hit or anything like that. I managed to get to a safe area and check it out and found that my brake line was broken and leaking fluid. So now I'm out of a car. Now I can either get it fixed or just buy a new/used car. Not sure what to do and don't know how much it will be to fix my car if I do decide to get it fixed.

Must be something going around.... I recently had an exhaust pipe crack open on my car. Can't drive it until I get it fixed, and, at least until next pay day, that's something I just can't afford at the moment.

could always have a welder patch it up, shouldn't be too bad of a fix

The crack is adjacent to an O2 sensor, and I've been told by a fairly reliable source that because of the condition of the pipe, welding doesn't seem to be an option. Of course, I'm open to a second opinion.

Ohh, yeah that happens xD I'm assuming it's the post cat O2 which means that's not a fun place xD it shouldn'y be too expensive though.

It's a '97 Chevy Tahoe. The pipe from the passenger side exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter. If any of that means anything.

Oh god D: that one isn't so easy to handle x.x no wonder you have to have it fixed x3

That's..... actually the 4th time I've gotten that particular reaction.

fix the car and then use it until you find a new one
Oh dear 8X Glad you were not hurt, hope things work out with this somehow!
